A bunch of cowards! To take the lives of at least 50 people in the hopes that it will further their cause. Well guess again. The world is diggin in the heels a little more deep ly right now. At least a suicide bomber has some semblence of bravery, these bombs were detonated remotely by a bunch of cowards far from harm's way---for now.

I am concerned that the United States and, particularly, weak-sister France, do not offer conciliation to terrorists.

As a long-time journalist I learned that you never negotiate with terrorists unless it is a ruse to entrap and do away with them. No cop in his right mind is going to negotiate in good faith with a hostage-taker or an assassin. Once done, the terrorists, hostage-takers and assassins have free rein to do whatever they want.

Intelligence systems in the United States are a mess of turf wars and non-communication. If they were working, we could shut down the flow of terrorists into this country; we could find them and put them away. They don't have a right under any law to do what they do.

Yes, the terrorists are *******s. They are also cowards who target, and get their joys out of killing, innocent civilians.

Travel is the key to people of the world understanding and appreciating each other.

Will I buy a ticket to London this year? You bet I will.

Amen! The only way to defeat terrorism is to not let fear rule our lives. I will not allow a few misguided individuals to take away my freedom to visit London, Madrid or even the Middle East. The way to heal the world is not through political ideology, but through educating yourselfs and others.

I am planning a trip to Germany next year. I purchased my tickets the very next day and told my friends that I would be there unless something really drastic happened to prevent my trip. This would be something like illness or death (mine, hubby's or my mom's - she's 86 next month). I would not go walking through an obvious mine field, so the terrorists just need to get out of the way! B)
