I will be sailing on her tomorrow for 2 nights! I am sooooo excited. The promenade looks similiar to the Voyager class. I hope the promenade rooms are a little bigger on the Freedom though....on the VY class they are a bit small.

I have been on all the VY class ~ I LOVE these mega ships! (I also love the Radiance class)

This sounds like one incredible boat. I've got to figure out a way to get on her some time.....

Just got back from the 2-day "Mother's Day" sailing out of Bayonne, and I can tell you the ship is gorgeous! Our balcony cabin was a little smaller than I've had on Celebrity/Princess, but had plenty of storage, and the beds are SOOO comfortable! I was underwhelmed by the food (and service) in the main dining room, but had very good meals in the Windjammer/Jade buffets, Johnny Rockets, and the pizza restaurant in the promenade. The ship is well laid out, and never felt crowded (though this may be a different story entirely when she's filled to full capacity). Entertainment was top notch. The production show was the best I've seen at sea, I really enjoyed the ice show, and they did a cute circus-themed parade in the promenade. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, and the cruise director did a good job. If anyone has specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
