I thought it was a good list of what's available.

Of course part of the reason I liked it was the last line of the article:

The alternative, of course, is to stay within the U.S. There’s nothing wrong with that, although you’d probably miss The Point entirely.

Not to blow my own horn, but you might want to look at this article too:

My advice continues to be that unless your travel out of the country is and is anticipated to be extremely limited limited in scope get a passport. For example, you can't fly out of the country or back into the country without one.
