For the next 10 days, I'll be driving from San Francisco to Seattle. Anybody have any suggestions on things to do, places to stay/eat, etc.?
Much thanks and happy travels.

Can't say much for places between SFO and Seattle, but if you go to Seattle, I highly recommend:
- Boeing Plant tour at Everett (Snohomish County)
- Space Needle
- Museum of Flight at Boeing Field
- Monorail that takes you from Seattle Exposition park to downtown shopping.
The food at Space Needle is supposed to be very good, although it's very pricey. If you like steak, there's an excellent steak restaurant at the Sea-Tac Hilton.
In Seattle, I recommend the Holiday Inn Express or the Holiday Inn near Space Needle. They're both right next to each other.
The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant near the Holiday Inn has very good food.

If you can, try to take part of the drive up Highway 101 along the Oregon coast. It's beautiful, especially compared to going straight up the interstate. I went on my honeymoon there and stayed in Lincoln City.
You might also stop by Mount St. Helens if you have time and haven't seen it before.
When you get to Seattle, the best restaurant is the Metropolitan Grill. Prices there are more reasonable at lunch than at dinner. The Space Needle does have good food (depending on who you ask), but the price isn't worth it... and bring some Dramamine if you're inclined to motion sickness.
Hope you have a good trip!

Yes, there's a lot to see on the peninsula. Hurricane Ridge, Dungeness Spit... all very scenic out there. I found the Olympic Game Farm near Sequim to be an interesting diversion and you might like it if you don't mind your car window being licked by buffalo. ;)
