Looks like I've scored an invite on a sailing charter to Tonga for late Mar08!!

Told to arrive in Vava'u - VAV
Any advice from some pros to a pro?
Suggestions on air options from USA? I'm using LAX as the US gateway, but not coming up with much. Looks like Air Pacific via Fiji NAN, but subject to day of week schedules from what I see.

If I have to overnight in NAN or VAV, any suggestions for hotel favorites?

The little bit of knowledge of Tonga I have is that they are quite religious (Christian), and that over-sized people are admired as beautiful.
