John Stewart died on Saturday morning. I met him on the Hawaii cruise. He was quite a talent.

A great singer/songwriter who did great work with a number of artists over the years. Not only could he write but he was a gifted singer and a decent guitarist.

I heard that on the Today Show yesterday, at the same time that they announced Suzanne Pleshette's passing. How sad, on both counts, he was a tremendous talent. But it sounds as if this is what he would have preferred.

Now I have Daydream Believer rattling around in my brain!
