She was a wonderful actress best remembered for her role as Bob Newhart's wife in the Bob Newhart Show. She was a very sexy, intelligent actress, with an amazing voice. I remember her especially from two movie roles; Annie Hayworth, the school teacher in Alfred Hitchcock's, The Birds, who eventually is killed by the birds in the movie, and as Samantha Perkins in If It's Tuesday, it Must be Belgium, a hilarious comedy about a group of U.S. travelers racing through nine countries in 18 days. Maybe some members of Tripso have taken such a trip.

I did not know she was in that movie! I knew her from The Birds and of course Newhart. "Wake Up Bob"

Tough loss, she was funny!

Just watched a very young Suzanne Pleshette play the female lead in an old Western with James Garner, "Support Your Local Sheriff." (I was at my parent's house.) It was actually pretty doggone funny and she was excellent in the role.

Always liked that gal...

One of my favorite movies - I'll miss her laugh.

I just watched that this weekend. It is always good for a laugh. I actually got to meet her once when I worked at the airport. She was very nice to everyone she encountered and was gracious to boot. I'm saddened to hear of her passing.

She was a great actress. I used to love watching her movies. I think the last one I saw her in was The Ugly Dachsund.
