Suggestions for all-inclusive in CUN

We are thinking about staying at Rue Palace Las Americas in Cancun. I'm concerned because I have heard that there is a lack of sun in the pool areas because they are in the shadow of the hotel. Does anyone have any info on this resort or can suggest a good alternative? We are planning to go April 13. Also, Cozumen and Playa de Carmon won't work. The nephews want to be where all the action is.

I stayed there last March and at the end of the day when the sun is going down, the hotel next door the RIU Cancun looses it's sunlight earlier than the Palace pool..

the Palace is amazing and I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Beautiful rooms, fantastic food and if you want to party, go next door to the RIU Cancun...

So Cole, you think the pool and beach are ok? I also read something about a smell and hard beds and that they only let you have one drink an hour. What did you experience?
