Germany (finally) going non-smoking....

For better or worse, Germany is finally jumping on the bandwagon-- Most of its states are now implementing smoking bans:

(On a side note: Bavaria isn't mentioned in the article, but I know from a different source that a ban is going into effect in 2008...)

By the end of next year, most every country in western Europe will probably be part of the ban. I think that it was when the heavily smoking France passed their smoking ban earlier this year that the flood gates really started to open.
