Just finished reading the latest Vince Flynn novel, Protect and Defend. It is his series of books featuring the Mitch Rapp, secret agent extraordinaire, character. While very entertaining, and timely, it is not as good as other books in the series. I'd wait for paperback, or buy wisely on half.com. :-)
In my quest for all things spy and covert related, I have also started reading an author named Brad Thor who has a character series similar to Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp. His character is Scot Harvath who is a former Navy SEAL, and Secret Service agent. The novel I just read on vacation was called The Lions of Lucerne. It was originally published in the early 2000's but very timely, to say the least.
If you enjoy spy novels and intrigue, I can highly recommend these two others!
