It's not easy being a pop idol, especially if you're holding a secret that you hope would never come out.
Out of Sync, an autobiography by Lance Bass, a member of the wildly successful pop group *NSYNC, takes us on a journey from his childhood to the present. In the book, he talks about his humble beginnings in Mississippi, to his invitation to be a part of *NSYNC, to his attempt to be a space tourist, and finally to revealing that he is gay. Along the way, he takes us through his ups and downs, his happiness, his anger, and his hurts from each event.
I found this book to be an easy read, something that can be read in one sitting. I finished the book in about 4 hours. Lance did a phenomenal job writing it. While I was reading, I can definitely understand his feelings and, if I were to meet him, I would definitely say to him, “Well done!”
If you are a fan of *NSYNC or Lance Bass, this is one book that must be added to your library.
