It's a long shot but can anyone recommend a DMC for day trips in Bucharest?

I just booked a 2 nighter there as a DL mileage run and have 1-1/2 days to kill.

They seem to be in the wrong country...

Picky, picky, picky. My first thought was Tradesco but they don't seem to be handling Romania any more, at least if one goes by their website.

I'm stumped otherwise. Fodors.com has a few recommendations, for what it's worth.

I didn't check Travelbound or General because...well, because I'm too lazy to log in and it's probably a long shot. ;-)

TravelBound has zip for tours although I did book a room and arrival transfer with them. Doesn't General only do 5 days or more?

No, I'm looking for something like Carly's Bucharest Day Tour Co. (City Tours our Specialty). Although I don't want a city tour but rather out into the countryside to see the scary dracula castles.

I'm not that geographically challenged. I know they don't show Romania. That doesn't mean they don't have contacts that could do it for you. You asked for a DMC. They are a DMC. If you wanted a tour company, then I'd have come up with something different.

[Jeez-o-pete, some people just can't be satisfied...]

You might want to look at these folks- they are an "On Site" with Virtuoso:
