Well, I'm out of luck. They don't have flights leaving from anywhere in California.

And to be honest, if you fly them, you will hate flying the majors again. Leg room, service, food in coach!

FYI to all, they are owned by the Mullen Family that also owns Apple Vacations and I suspect this is unsold space. Typically they reserve 80% of the space for their vacation packages. BUt hell for a buck plus taxes...now if they woudl open it up from BWI!

It sounds like all the smaller niche carriers are getting into the act. I received an email from Allegiant Air yesterday in which they are offering "Blackjack Fares" of $21.00 to Las Vegas from many gateways for travel through Feb. 1.

Of course, just like USA3000, you have to pay at least a couple hundred bucks to get home. Still a good deal, but a marketing strategy nonetheless.

Here's the booking link:

BTW...I second John's opinion of USA3000. It's a nice ride for leisure travelers.

I third John's opinion. We always fly USA 3000 from ORD to CZM in January. Great seats, food and the FAs have fun attitudes. This Jan. our return flight is on Pace. Does anyone have experience on Pace? For some reason I think it might be a cattle car.....

Pace airlines was or still is a charter carrier and was bought by the late Robert Brooks, owner of the Hooters restaurant chain. He reflagged some of the planes with Hooters logo and ran the reflagged planes as Hooters Airlines with a hub in Myrtle Beach S.C. Last time I flew them, the seating was kinda tight and the plane was a 737 200 series I think. Service as fairly good best I remember.

Sorry to say I never flew Hooters. I flew Pace to Mexico. By the way, Mr Brooks shut down Hooters just before he died. He got his start in business by making the salad dressings for the Steak and Ale restaurant chain. He then introduced it in supermarkets under the Naturally Fresh label.
